GP-558.1 TRAVELLING MICROSCOPE The base is fitted with levelling screws with the top machined over which slides a gun metal carriage. The slide can be clamped at any position by means of a clamping screw. Fine adjustments for final reading is done with a micrometer screw. A vertical slide operating in a similar way is fitted on the horizontal carriage. The microscope with rack and pinion is fitted on the vertical or horizontal position of the microscope. The stage of placing objects for measurements is fitted with a milky plate. Highest quality achromatic Lenses have been used. Travels 16.5cms. Horizontally and 14cms. Vertically stainless steel scales are divided on high class dividing engines. Guaranteed accurate vernier reading 0.02 or 0.01mm in wooden case.  GP-559.1 BUZZER IN VACUUM An electric buzzer working on 2-4V D.C. Suspended in bell jar 150x100mm with connections to terminals mounted on Rubber bung sealing the jar. For use on pump plate not less than 150mm dia.  GP-560.1 WAVE FORM HELIX (SLINKY) For demonstrating wave motion. Helical coil of fiat section tempered steel wire. Coil diameter 75mm, closed length 110mm, fully extended 5m.  GP-561.1 WAVE FORM HELIX For experiments in wave motion, pulses, reflection and interferences. Steel wire close-wound helix, 19mm diameter, closed longth 3 m extending to approx. 9 m.  GP-562.1 WAVE MOTION APPARATUS For demonstrating longitudinal and transverse motion, consisting of 18 acentric Aluminium disc supporting a series of metal rods.
