GP-506.1 COMACT LIGHT SOURCE A 12V 100W halogen lamp mounted in a well ventilated metal housing. Apertures 19mm diameter are provided on two adjacent sides so that the lamp may be used either as an intense horizontal “line” source, or end on as a powerful ‘Point’ source. The aperture not in use may be closed by a pivoted shutter equipped with a lockscrew. The lamphouse is mounted on a rod 160mm long x 10mm diameter for supporting from an ordinary laboratory stand. Supplied complete with 1m of twin cable.  GP-508.1 EYE KIT Comprises 5-litre round-bottomed flask with cork support ring,25g fluorescein, packet Plasticine and one each +11D, +8D and +5.5D miniscus lens to demonstrate normal, long and short sight respectively. Correcting lenses of +2.5D and -3D included to demonstrate function of spectacles.  GP-509.1 EYE MODEL, FUNCIONAL This unique model permits demonstration of the physical principles upon which the eye operates, including defects of vision and their correction. The lens and ciliary body are flexible, the lens itself being fluid filled and connected to a syringe. The syring can be used to vary the pressure in the lens and hence its thickness, to simulate accommodation. The length of the ‘eyeball’ may be varied to simulate long or short sight and lenses to be used to demonstrate correction via spectacles. A major advantage of this model is that actual images may be projected on to the ‘retina’, making it an extremely effective demonstration tool. The complete model is mounted on a wooden base, and has overall dimensions of 320 x 180mm length x height.  GP-510.1 OPTICAL BENCH 1 METER WOODEN Comprising a wooden base board 1100x115mm with one meter scale divided in millimeters and figured at every centimeter fixed along the front edge and complete with following accessories, two white faced object and receiving screen, one plane mirror 150x100mm, 4 lens holder V shaped, one needle mounted vertically in a short wooden rod in the centre of a wooden base. The optical centre height of all the components is 100mm above the base board.  GP-510.2 OPTICAL BENCH, 1.5 METER Comprising a wooden base board. 1.6mx140mm with a 1.5m scale divided in millimeters plus six sliding mounted metallic bases 100x50mm each with engraved line, brass pillars with screw for locking. 1 240V white lamp with lamphouse. 1 Metal object white screen 75mm dia with gauge. 1 Metal object white receiving screen 100x75mm. 1 Needle mounted in rod 6mm. 1 Plane mirror 100x75mm.
