The shaft has an aluminium V pulley 44mm diameter, for driving with the spring belt. Dimensions of laminated wooden base 155x105mm.  GP-410.1 FRICTION CALORIMETER UNIT Comprising a brass cylinder, internal size 27 x 16mm diameter, with and integral V pulley in the base of the cylinder and a 6mm diameter steel shaft which fits into a bearing block. A vertical pillar carries the corklined friction arms and thermometer support. Supplied without thermometer. The upper platform has a 38mm diameter hole to allow use as a simple recirculation system with a single reservoir.
